Vintage Chanel quilted flap handbag brooch crafted in yellow gold tone (circa 1980s to early 1990s).

Chanel used a collection number (23-29) from the mid 1980s to the early 1990s to date jewelry . The brooch is from the collection numbered 26 and dates to approx. 1989. The brooch features a coin to the top that reads "Chanel 31 Rue Cambon Paris". Attached to a double chain link is the classic Chanel quilted flap bag. The back of the brooch features a pin closure to fit securely on a garment.
