If there was ever a dress that seems to capture the essence of fall and seems made for parties of this season, it is this adorable little dress by Victor Costa. Its princess length skirt is made of a iridescent silk taffeta and has a beautiful fullness hearkening back to his early days at Suzy Perette in the sixties. The bodice is a fitted velvet in the same hue of taupe and a taffeta fabric belt cinches in the waist. I love the molded bodice with its light boning that gives shape and structure to the bust. The "sleeves" if you can call them that are fabulous. Each sits off shoulder and is made of a combination of hand cut "feathers" mixed with real feathers dyed to match the tones of fabric in the dress. It s a real beauty and very chic. Excellent condition. The skirt has an inner lining of tulle and the bodice is lined in a matching color silky rayon. It closes with a back painted nylon and metal zipper. Lightly boned through the bodice
