This late seventies gown from Victor Costa is pretty fabulous. I am not normally a huge fan of velvets but for some reason the edgy mix of the black edged silver lame detailing puts this gown into a category all on its own. It is cut to hug every curve and follow the lines of the girl wearing it. It has a sexy rounded and scooped bodice that gives it an Old Hollywood feel and I love how the silver detailing is set so it trails up and over the top edge. The skirt widens as it nears the floor and at the back it has a panel of fabric built in to create a trained effect that starts at the low back. I adore how the silver is placed on both the back and front and that low back is just sexy! It is pretty phenomenal and I love it! Excellent, appears unworn condition
Fully lined in a black silky rayon. It closes with a side, hidden set zipper. Boned and lined through the bodice so wearing a foundation garment would be optional. The back panel is an actual extension of the skirt.
