A spectacular, bohemian metallic threaded maxi dress in weightless silk chiffon by the great Pauline Trigere! This is an extraordinary dress that masterfully combines cut with an exquisite fabric. Made of tissue thin, almost weightless silk chiffon in a brilliant teal blue mixed with a floral and paisley print that has pops of pinks, greens and purples. From top to bottom fine gold thread has been worked through the silk in vertical rows and gives the dress a subtle shimmer when you move. It has a square cut front and back and the sleeves blouse and balloon softly above each cuff! The skirt is beautifully full and flows to the floor seemingly from the bodice though inside the dress there is a waist seam.† To achieve this there are a series of almost invisible fine, flat pleats built around the torso of the dress but so carefully done that the design in the silk appears unbroken.
